What in the World: Fra Khon Kaen til Hua Hin til Koh Tao

Vi har tilbragt en del timer på buss (hvor standarden har gått opp et par hakk) og har forflyttet oss til øya Koh Tao sør i Thailand. Først dro vi fra Khon Kaen, Palm og vennene hans. Den siste kvelden spanderte vi en kasse Heineken på hele gjengen som takk for at de hadde tatt godt vare på oss.

Vi hadde et stopp i Bangkok før vi dro videre sørover til byen Hua Hin. Der fikk vi en liten smak på strendene som venter oss, vi spanderte på oss en god middag med hummer og dro for å se noen fine templer i en by litt bortenfor.

I dag kom vi til Koh Tao og her har vi leid mopeder som vi skal bruke til å komme oss rundt overalt på øya. Det ble to, ettersom Irén for første gang på en moped suste avgårde liiitt ukontrollert bortover veien. Før det hele ble nok en nordmann-mopedkræsj-historie fant hun det best å sitte bakpå med Kine..

Vi har også allerede rukket å ta en herlig full body oil massage, og er klare for litt strandliv, snorkling og enda mer god thai mat.

These past days we have spent quite a few hours on buses (which have increased in standard) and made our way to the island Koh Tao south in Thailand. First we left Khon Kaen, Palm and his friends. Our last night there, we bought a crate of heineken for the gang as a thank you for having taken such good care of us.

We made a short stop in Bangkok before traveling further south to the town Hua Hin. There we got a little preview of the beaches that awaited us, and treated ourselves to a nice lobster dinner as well as a trip to some beautiful temples in a nearby town.
We arrived in Koh Tao today, and have already rented scooters so we can make our way around the island. We ended up just getting two of them, after Irén hit the gass a little too hard on her first try and sped a little unkontrolled along the road . To avoid another "Norwegian crashes scooter"-story, she decided to ride with Kine..
We have also had time for an amazing full body massage, and are now ready to hit the beaches, go snorkeling and enjoy more delicious Thai food.
